Big update

Cody and I have been busy little bees this past week and now that I've found the time to write the blog, I get to share our progress with you guys!

Cody took this past week off because he had to burn a lot of Comp Time or else he was going to lose it, so he came to San Angelo and we ran a lot of errands that we needed for the wedding.

Cody helped my Mom finish phase one of her patio while I was in class in the morning and the afternoons we ran errands until I had to go to work and then continued errands after I got off. Wednesday we went to the church we'd like to have the wedding at and looked around, Cody agreed that it was gorgeous (albeit pricey) so that's where we're having it. We also went to Ft. Concho and looked around the buildings we're planning on having the Reception and Rehearsal Dinner, I'm excited about those. Wednesday evening we met up with my friend Sarah, who took our photos last year, for engagement photos. We had a fun time with the photos and the turned out amazing she is always fun to take pictures with. Thursday we had a cake tasting at Coco's Cakes and put a deposit down for next year. Cody's cakes are all picked out and designed, my cake has yet to get off the starting block.

Friday evening we went to Iraan and left Bandit with my parents for the night. Cody's parents and grandparents came to visit Iraan on Saturday for the first time and see where Cody ended up. Saturday afternoon we drove back to San Angelo so we could show them the Church and Ft. Concho so they had an idea of what we were planning for the wedding. It was a busy, but fun, week and we got a lot accomplished.
