Sproul Ranch

At the request of Cody's Mom here's the link to the focus of tonights story: http://www.rmsproulranch.com/index.html

So Cody had to go to Fort Davis tonight for a BBQ with a representative, basically a PR thing. Well they apparently had this BBQ at Sproul Ranch, Cody called me after the BBQ and told me (after we played a game of catch the cell signal) about the ranch. He asked me to look up their website and to see if they had any information. "Why?" Well for the wedding of course.

Cody really liked the place and wants to look into having the wedding out there. I told him that it's his deal, he gets to make those phone calls. He can also explain to our family members that they might have to drive up to 8+hrs to attend our wedding if we do decide to have it there.

Now, I'm not opposed to having the wedding there, I'm just trying to be realistic and considerate to my siblings who will have: A) 3 kids under the age of 10, B) Wife in late stages of pregnancy OR a new born. Then there's our friends who have young children and or pregnant wives (their drives won't be as long but still). We also have to consider my grandparents who don't travel well anymore, and the possible ramifications of the long drive on his grandparents. Now if I have an overwhelming reply from everyone saying, "Thanks for the consideration but if you want to get married there go ahead and do it" then heck yea we'll do it, but until that happens I have to keep what'll be the easiest on everyone else in mind.

If we have the wedding there I think we'll have to have it in June or July...maybe even in the middle of the week, we'll see.

Night all!

Ok, I guess I have to explain this a little better. The website shows the cabins they have and not the place I would like to have the wedding. The place we are looking into is a huge place, built for entertainment. As far as, lodging Alpine and Fort Davis both have hotels and motels. Alpine is 30 mins away.
